With the rugby season nearly upon us, take a look at our upcoming pre-match activities ....

Our first home game of the season will be on Saturday 2nd September against the newly promoted, Pocklington. To celebrate the start of the rugby season, we shall be hosting a pre-match lunch with a comedian, priced at £20 per head.Tickets include, 2-course lunch, entry to the 1st XV game and your match day programme. Lunch will begin at 1:00pm, for a 3:00pm kick off.

The 2nd home game of the season, against Harrogate, is our Family Lunch Day. New for this season, all wives, girlfriends, partners and children from the Club are welcome. Lunch will begin at 1:00pm, for a 3:00pm kick off. Tickets cost £15 per head to include;

  • Two course lunch for adults, carvery followed by cheese and biscuits
  • Kids (age 10 and below) eat free, when accompanied by an adult
  • Complimentary Bouncy Castle for the children

Saturday 30th September sees the 1st XV take on Morley. This game will be a special one, as we have a TV crew visiting the Club to create a profile for a documentary on the Club, due to them being impressed with the amateur status of the Club and the level of rugby played. They shall be filming the build up to the match, as well as the game itself and the aftermath – a few spectators may have the opportunity to be interviewed. To fully embrace this opportunity, we are hosting a marquee lunch with a comedian and compare. Tickets cost £25 per person, and include a 2-course lunch, entry to the 1st XV game and your match day programme. Lunch will begin at 1:00pm, for a 3:00pm kick off.

We are counting on your support for the above events, as we firmly believe the first team with the new signings and existing players back from injury, and general fitness and wellbeing of the first team squad bodes for this to be the season were we achieve promotion to National 2, a feat that is unheard of for a totally amateur Club.
