Leigh joins Head coach Simon Verbickas and Assistant coach Keith Mahon as part of the backroom staff at Wirral this season. Leigh will be bringing a team of physios with him as part of a clinic he will have available for the players every Tuesday and Thursday.

Leigh is the Senior Physiotherapist at The Chiro and Physio Clinic, which he runs alongside his wife. They have two clinics one on the Wirral and another in Liverpool.

Leigh has spent many years working in full time professional sport; with the English Institute of Sport and more recently UK Athletics. In 2012, he was the lead physiotherapist for GB Taekwondo at the London Olympic Games. Leigh has worked in a range of sports including Rugby League, Rugby Union and Football and he has worked at over 50 major games and training camps including the Olympic holding camp and Olympic Games, the Commonwealth Games, Taekwondo world championships in South Korea and numerous Athletics Diamond Leagues.
