Wirral Rugby Club has been included within Sale Sharks 100 Club, its new partnership scheme with 100 local grassroots rugby clubs located throughout Cheshire and Lancashire. The 100 Club is linked to the Sharks ‘20 20 vision’ in which they hope to achieve having 75% of their players from North West Clubs. As part of this vision they have established a clear grassroots strategy.

Sale Sharks recently hosted a launch event for the 100 Club, at which Wirral was represented by Brendan Bailey and Charlotte Clynch. As part of the evening the Club was gifted a framed Sharks shirt, which was presented by Director of Rugby, Steve Diamond and Commercial Director, Mark Cueto MBE. In return, Wirral has also sent one of this season’s 1XV shirts to Sale to be framed and displayed in their hospitality suite.

As part of the 100 Club, Wirral has also received 4 season tickets to all Sale Shark home games for the 2016/17 season. If any member would like to use the tickets, please contact Charlotte Clynch (charlotte.clynch@firtree.uk.com). Tickets will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis.
