Following on from last week’s hard fought but well deserved victory over Kendal, the next fixture for the 1st XV is a home game this coming Saturday against Billingham. This is another “must win” game if we are to keep the pressure on Rossendale and the teams immediately below us in the race for 2nd place. Billingham currently lie in 6th place, just off the pace, and certainly will be no push over having enjoyed a comfortable win over us when we travelled there earlier in the season. The game kicks off at 2.15pm but why not come down earlier and join us for a spot of lunch at 12.30. The cost of lunch is £15 which includes entrance to the game and a match programme. The 3rd XV are also at home (against Broughton Park) whereas the 2nds and 4ths are away at Broughton Park and Mossley Hill respectively. And don’t forget there is also rugby at the club on Sunday. Both the Junior and Senior Colts are top of their respective leagues. This Sunday the Senior Colts are at home to Sandbach with a 2pm kick off whilst the Juniors travel to Anselmians.
