Following a short break last weekend, take a look at what is coming up this weekend at Wirral.

This weekend’s fixture for the 1st XV is an away game against Hull. This is another “must win” game for the team if we are to keep pressure on Rossendale, who picked up 4 points on the weekend against Cleckheaton. Hull currently lie just below Wirral, in 4th place, and with just 7 points between the two teams this will certainly not be an easy game. Wirral last played Hull back in October, in a 32 – 18 win at home. The game kicks off at 2:15pm, but if you cannot make it up to Hull to support the team, why not come down to Memorial Ground and support our teams at home this weekend.

The 2nd XV are at home to Crewe and Nantwich, who they have previously beaten both at home and away this season in league and cup games. Currently sitting at the top of their league, this should be a good game to watch. The 3s are also at home this Saturday, which will be a challenging game for the 3s, as they take on top of the league Widnes 2s. The 4s are away this weekend to Oxton Parkonians, who are currently bottom of their league.

And don't forget there is rugby at the Club on a Sunday! This weekend both our Junior and Senior Colts have a short break from their league games, whilst all our other M&J teams are either at home or away to Mold.
