After having the match postponed two weeks ago, the 1st XV are at home to Firwood Waterloo. The match kicks off at 2:15pm and is a “must win” if Wirral are to stay in contention for the playoffs spot. Firwood Waterloo currently lies in 13th place at the bottom of the league, having only won three of their games all season. However, it will be no easy game for the team as Waterloo have strengthened over the past few weeks.
All other senior teams are on a weather break this week, with their games resuming next weekend.
And don’t forget there is also rugby at the club on Sunday. Both our Junior and Senior Colts are top of their leagues. This Sunday the Junior Colts are at home to Penrith with a 12:00pm kick off, whilst the Seniors have a weather break. So why not come down on Sunday and watch our latest crop of talented youngsters!
Alongside this we will also be screening all of the action from the Six Nations this weekend, with Saturday seeing Scotland take on Wales (KO 14:25pm) and Ireland take on France (KO 16:50pm). Meanwhile on Sunday, England face Italy in their battle for back-to-back Grand Slams (KO 15:00pm).
