With last games of the season being this Saturday, take a look at what else we have going on at Wirral this week ….

Returning from a weather break this Saturday, Wirral’s senior teams all have their last games of the season this weekend. The 1st XV are at home to Rossendale, whom have secured their place in this year’s playoff. Our 1s, who have had a considerable amount of injuries this season, will be looking to finish the season with a win at home. Currently in 4th position, a win would ensure the team finish in this position within the league.

To celebrate the end of season, we will also be hosting a pre-match luncheon for all to attend. Tickets cost £25 per person, and includes lunch, entertainment by comedian “Big Lou”, your entry to the 1st XV game and a match day programme. With a limited amount of space left, secure your ticket now. Contact Charlotte Clynch for more information (charlotte.clynch@firtree.uk.com or 0151 336 7303).
The weekend also sees our 2s away to Sandbach, in a game which will see them secure either a 2nd or 3rd place finish within their league. The team have secured promotion, but due to a change to league formats, they will remain in the same league next year.

Our 3s are also at home, facing bottom of the table side Lymm, in a game which could see Wirral becoming the highest placing 3rd team within their league – having played against many Club’s 1st and 2nd teams all season.

And there is also rugby on at Wirral on Sunday, with many of our age groups playing in the various Cheshire Finals; Wirral’s under-13s to under-16s are at home to a variety of sides. So why not come down, and support our talented youngsters !!
