Over the weekend, a number of Wirral Players participated in a charity match for Ellesmere Port player, Paul Grant.

On Saturday 21st January, Ellesmere Port RUFC hosted a charity match in honour of their 1XV player, Paul Grant, who tragically broke his neck whilst playing for the Club in December. Players from Wirral, Port Sunlight, Wallasey and Ellesmere Port turned out in force to support the day, playing Ellesmere Port 2s/Vets vs Wirral 4s/Vets. Overall the day raised a massive £1800, which will go towards supporting Paul through his recovery.

From all at Wirral we wish Paul a speedy and safe recovery, and would like to thank all our players and members who took time out of their weekend to support and attend the match.
