An outstanding performance for the County side saw them beat Lancashire at Sedgley Park 11-27 on Saturday. Our own Joe Murray put in a strong performance at scrum half and Ali Baker on the wing scored the try that put the result beyond doubt.

The squad, which has also featured Wirral Captain, Craig Harvey, has won all of their Northern Group games this year, beating Eastern Counties, Yorkshire and Lancashire on their way to the County Cup Final against Cornwall where the winners will receive the Bill Beaumont Cup prior to the England vs Wales game on Sunday 29th May.

The coaching team for the county has also had Matt Cairns and Matt Slater contributing to their success.
