Saturday saw our under-9 side take on a special role throughout the 1st XVs match day. Alongside hosting our visitors, Lymm’s under-9 side, the team were also treated to a pre-match session with Club Captain, Craig Harvey.

Craig attended the Under-9s training and pre-match warm up before watching them take on their opposition in a curtain raiser game, which showcased the future stars of Wirral Rugby Club.

Following their curtain raiser, the team also acted as Guard of Honour for our 1st team, walking out onto the pitch with the players.

We hope our under-9s enjoyed their day and wish them luck with the remainder of their season.
