Wirral Stars Feature in County Championship

Congratulations to the Wirral players who played for the Senior Cheshire County side against Lancashire in the Bill Beaumont Cup County Championship.

Jimmy started at Full Back while Ali and Rob came off the bench to play at Chester on the 9th March. Team Coach Matt Cairns also featured in the County set up as Forwards Coach. Unfortunately the result didn't go Cheshire's way losing 18-21. A brief match report is available here.
The remaining fixtures for Cheshire in the County Championship are:

Yorkshire at Doncaster RUFC on 16th May (3.00PM k.o.)
Durham at Darlington Mowden Park on 23rd May (3.00PM k.o.)
