The OId Enemy Arrive in Town !

What a week ! 16 yes's the Saturday before, 8 no's by Wednesday morning ! and a further 3 on Saturday lunchtime ! I must have made 50 calls and text during the course of the week on top of the normal 50 ! trying to press gang people thought I was Gangster Trippin. I eventually raised 13 thanks to the 4th Team but left them without key players.

Upon speaking to the Anselmians Capt I find that they were in the same position. 13 a side !!! hmmm great I said, Give it to me. I even had to get Vic kitted up at the ripe of age of 70, just to wind my old man up ! which it did !

even before we started the game, the MOM had been awarded, Chris Levitt, abandoning his wife and kids and relatives from down south to speed to our aid (his wife even told him to go !! normally grounds for divorce, but what can I say Top Wife) When he did arrive it was about time to start ! I shouted at him where have you been, his reply, an audience with the pope !

Not wanting to be seen coming second Wirral shot out of the blocks and quickly rattled up 17 points before Anselmians knew what happened. However as usual, we think we've done the necessary job and go to sleep. Anselmians came right back as us, score two tries themselves ! Game on ! The game proceeded like this until half time.

With the game tight, Wirral turned round with the slight wind and going home. The game still continued with tit for tat tries scores mounting till it got to 32-22 to Wirral. This is when it all changed, Wirral extended their lead then to 43-22. Game over !

A lot of Beer and a haranguing from the wife when I got in but who cares that makes it Wirral 2 Anselmians 0 so far this season ! with two left to play, can we make it a clean sweep ??
