This is a game that is best forgotten

The day did not start out the best as with our already depleted side there were a few more missing through injury and sickness meaning that we started the game with only 15! Jake Clement Jones stepped up and propped for us, and to be honest did a great job, well done Jake
.
The first 5 minutes or so were good with both sides attacking and defending but 10 mins in our other prop Will Hibbert who had an ear infection took a blow to the head. Although Will tried he couldn't carry on.

A.K. lent us a prop and the game continued. A.K. Ran in a try which was the start of many!

Crazy James took a blow to the nose and had to come off for blood. Whist down to 14 A.K scored again it was during this move that Ed Williams went over on his ankle and had to be carried off the pitch and straight to A&E (the results are bruising to his Achilles which means a couple of weeks out, get better soon mate)!

A.K continued their dominance scoring several try's. Then, maybe 20 mins in, Alex Brophy, chasing a kick through from A.K, jumped on the ball and stayed down. They went through and scored but Alex was hurt. After being carried off and yet another trip to A&E, this time to put back a dislocated shoulder, Alex will be out for several weeks. Get well soon mate.

A.K lent us players but with 3 players of our own missing and only 15 no subs the game was only going one way, and it did.

The second half did see some dogged effort off Wirral and lead to a Jack Jones try for the second game in succession .

Final score was 5 - 72

Whilst the loss was bad some players had great games. Harry Mates, Conor Gill, Jake Clement Jones, Jack Jones, Sean Casswell and Seb Peirce all need mentioning and the man of the match this week was Jack Jones.
