Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em

On Mothers' Day we had a great turn out on a beautiful spring day. The birds were singing, the crocus were shooting and the trees gently swayed in the warm breeze.

Blah, blah, wobble, wobble, wobble. Nobody reads it anyway at the end of the season so I don't know why I bother.

Anyhow, Wirral played well, dominating possession and the scoreline. But to be entirely fair the Park boys kept at it and staged a comeback in the last quarter.

Its always a pleasure to host Park and our best wishes go to the players and coaches for their forthcoming tour.

As for Wirral, at this stage it looks like we will be facing Sandbach in the Shield Final on 4th May on home turf.

Mmmmmmm.
