Wirral were represented at Twickenham on Sunday 2nd June by Chris Speed (l) and Chris Crowley (r) as they came just short against Cornwall in the Bill Beaumont cup final. Both men started on the bench but came on early due to injuries. Highlights for Speedy was coming up short of the line after a good carry, just before Cheshire scored. Chris C was playing in an unfamiliar role on the wing but was solid under the high ball and with ball in hand. They should both be proud of their County campaign. Matt Dalton also represented Wirral during the County Campaign playing against Durham and Yorkshire with Ryan Higginson also being involved.
