The weather and drying pitches made for fast, open games, which the players seemed to really enjoy.

In the first game, Wirral's team was Bailey, Oli, Matty, Ellie and Libby, with Jack and Dylan winning a Coach's Quiz to play half a game each. The home team leaped into an early lead, with Oli showing his customary talent to score three first-half tries to two by Park. The visitors started the second half strongly, courtesy of some very athletic running with the ball, and enthusiastic tagging. Wirral fought back strongly; Libby was prominent throughout this period, linking play well. Ellie showed superb game management to organise the home defence, forcing some vital turnovers. Matty "the cat" Hastewell pulled off some spectacular diving tags that prevented certain tries. As the clock ticked down, Dylan and Bailey contributed tries, before a 4th from Oliver made the final score an unsurprising 6-6.

In the second game, it was Oliver and Bailey who won the Coach's Quiz, to join William, Alfie, Dan, Ben, Jack and Dylan. It was another very open, fast game, with both teams eager and energetic. Wirral impressed their coaches immensely by passing the ball before the tackle, and finding good space as a result. Jack was particularly prominent, running with pace and aggression to score two tries. Dan took a more direct line of attack, and also managed to cross for a brace. Alfie was a willing first-receiver and distributor, with William making some crucial tags and runs that saw him growing in confidence. Wirral maintained pressure against a tiring Park side, with Ben, Dylan and Bailey scoring a try apiece, before Oli rounded-off the scoring to make it an 8-5 win for the hosts.

Notable in both matches was the improved handling of the Wirral players and their much improved awareness of the touchlines. Buster was awarded to William, as he continues to improve his allround game.
