After a few weeks the weekly agenda is back, we are starting to get busy again, so I feel members need to be informed of upcoming events.
As a heads up this weekend is the Snatch event starting Friday 24th to Sunday 26th, it’s been 3 long years since we last entertained them, so looking forward to renewing acquaintances and listening to some very loud music. The club will be open to all members, however, just be aware that we will be busy, and parking will be limited.

A first on Wednesday 29th sees the Wirral Classic cars Club holding their annual rally from the club. From about 7pm, 60 odd classic cars will arrive at the club, then go for a rally and return to the club after.
Can all members be aware that the car park will be closed, however Ocean Field will be available, so come and have a browse and enjoy a beer in the club.

Cricket Update
After a mixed start the 3 teams are now finding their feet, which is fantastic news for the
club. Currently all are competing very well and the 2 nd XI are 3 rd in their League.
There are regular weekly 20/20 matches on Wednesdays with a 6.15pm start and
Thursdays sees the Junior training from 6pm, a big shout out to Andy Slight and Tom
Muise for their commitment, along with the other coaches.

Wirral Touch Rugby
A report from Tony after the 1st competitive game:
We played our first game tonight against Caldy and although we lost 6-4, I thought we put up a great show.  I think they were expecting an easier game with less pace.
Thanks to the Caldy team for their help in giving us our first game experience and to Clive and Andy for refereeing the game. It was a great night for Touch Rugby and something for us to build upon.
Thanks to all the players on both teams and for joining us for a drink after the game.
Maybe the next time we play we may get down few more supporters to come, watch and and join in a drink afterwards.
We hope to continue the games through the summer with Chester, Caldy, Northwest
Men’s etc.
What could be better than watching a rugby game on a warm summer day with a few drinks. If any of the club members would like to come down, we shall take you through the rules and concept of the game on the pitch (in slow motion). It will do you good to get the feel of a rugby ball in your hands again, but without the pain of tackles and running.
Let me know if you are interested.
Tony O`Brien

As you can see there is plenty going on, please feel free to come to the club, enjoy the
sunshine and have a few refreshments.

Kind regards
